About the Photographer.

Hi and welcome to my webpage. I wanted to share a little bit about my photography journey, and let you know a little about myself as well.

It all started on an 8th grade trip back in 1991. I went with my class to Washington D.C. and took along about 20 rolls of film (for you young people, we used to have to use film to capture photographs. we had to buy the film, take the photos, hope everything was in focus and exposed correctly, then take the film to a photo lab to be processed. We would then have to wait, sometimes a few days to a week! to get our photos back, and then we had to pray that all the shots came out! Oh those were the days! :). I took so many pictures on that trip and had such a fun time! My poor mother probably spent as much in film and developing it, as she did on the trip itself.

Fast forward a couple of years, I took an Art class in High School and my amazing art teacher had convinced the school to put in a dark room! I got to process my own film, and print my own photos, and oh man, was that so much fun! I took a few photography classes in college as well, but then kind of just stopped pursuing the dream.

Fast forward a few more years, and the travel bug bit me. I started to travel and bought myself a better camera to document my adventures. While taking photos of my travel, I thought, hmmm I really miss this! So I dove back into the world of photography.

For the past 7 years, I was employed at the Jeep Plant in Toledo, where I worked in the Paint shop making sure the Jeep Wranglers and Gladiators leave the plant looking beautiful. Unfortunately, times are changing with the Auto Industry, and in Jan of 2025, I will find myself laid off indefinetley, so I decided to make the jump to Full Time photography! I’m excited to finally be able to devote the time necessary to expand and perfect this amazing art form.

What got me motivated to start this business you may ask?

A few family members had children and asked me to take some photos of them to remember birthdays and holidays. Those kids grew up and started playing sports, and I found a niche that I love, Sports Action photography!

I also specialize in Senior portraits, and offer a few specialized sessions for those celebrating this exciting time in their life.

I offer family photo sessions, with location shoots, which can be either posed or lifestyle, where I just capture your interaction with each other and the love you all share.
